Melody!

Melody’s world is a magical place with a song around every corner!

“Friend” is Melody’s favourite word – and with her very best friends, Lulu the poodle next door, and Mack the duck from the pond out back – Melody’s adventures are exciting journeys of imagination and fun.

Whether it’s just over the hedge or via a trip in the Bubblebuggy, Melody brings her curiosity and sense of fun. Lulu is all about kindness and joie de vivre, and Mack jumps in with enthusiasm and silliness, always up for anything.

Together, they follow the music to meet new friends or visit Auntie Connie or maybe Wise Old Fred just down the road, explore different places and cultures, and learn valuable lessons about kindness, inclusion, and curiosity. From dancing slugs to lovable hippopotamuses, every encounter becomes an opportunity to celebrate what makes everyone special.

Melody! is an active experience with singing and dancing that everyone can take part in. Melody, Lulu and Mack break the fourth wall for audience participation – to sing dance along, even help Melody – what should she do? Simple, repeatable melodies and the invitation to join in on the fun makes every episode a shared, bouncy good time for kids and parents alike.

Returning characters are voiced by famed children’s entertainers, including Connie Kaldor (Auntie Connie), Fred Penner (Wise Old Fred) and Al Simmons. Favourites from Fred Penner’s Place, they bring recognition, credibility and a nostalgia hook to parents who watched the series and are now having families of their own. Connie and Fred are connected to all of Canada’s top children’s performers, bringing a vast wealth of talent, current and nostalgia music to integrate into the series.

Melody! features the children’s songs from Juno award-winning singer Connie Kaldor, with award-winning Montreal producer Paul Campagne. The series is fully animated in brilliant 3D in both French and English. Songs and stories are translated, but also include classic songs made famous by French children’s sensation Carmen Campagne like “Un Bon Chocolate Chaud”.

Created by the studio and producers behind the highly successful CHUMS animated series, Melody! makes exploration, action and music part of every preschooler’s world.
