China, a nation closed for thousands of years to the western world, entered its most volatile time in 4,000 years of history. The only foreign man allowed inside the corridors of power was Morris Cohen, aide to Dr. Sun Yat-Sen.

A truant cockney Jew, Morris Cohen was sent to Saskatchewan Canada, He learned to gamble and shoot, and began a lifelong friendship with the Chinese people. A man looking for somewhere to belong, he finally found a great man to follow, the founder of modern China, Dr. Sun Yat-Sen.

Morris Cohen was known as a warrior with a heart of gold, for his honesty and loyalty, and for carrying two large-calibre pistols with him at all times. His many adventures and exploits in the service of Dr. Sun and the cause of democracy for China earned him legendary status among the Chinese people.

Two Gun Cohen is a Great North/Heartland Motion Pictures production for "The Canadians" series on History Television. It was developed by Zoot Capri, and the Zoot production team of R. Leslea Mair and Leif Storm Kaldor researched, co-wrote, co-produced, and co-directed.
